In honor of old-school skiffy: II

I was chatting to [info]shweta_narayan  and [info]rose_lemberg last night about a certain type of Old Skool Skiffy. 
 
So, Good Peoples of the Internets!  Inspired by Shweta's post here and brought to you by the various Table Of Contents Fails and Outbreaks of Stupid (and the gentleman professor who recently told me biological science -- my field --  is "no longer real science, it's too full of girly"), allow me to present to you the first four SIX issues of BoobieShips & TitRockets a PROPER Skiffy Magazine.

Sadly, this was my experience at a significant number (nearly half?) the room parties at a recent con I attended. Pandering to male heteronormativity is not what I want out of a con's room parties. Le Sigh.

Alas, I've only really been to one Con, and I left early due to running smack into the same sort of attitudes I'm mocking-- here on top of some casual harassment. Not what one wants out of a con party OR a con.

Got here via [info]rosefox: These are fabulous, but the anachronistic font choices really mar the retro look you're otherwise achieving. You should switch to less-serify, less-scripty, more boring fonts to project a more authentic image.
